I'm a PhD candidate at the Gopinathan Lab at the University of California, Merced. Broadly speaking, my research interests lie at the interface of biology and physics. For my PhD thesis, I worked on various problems in mechanobiology at cellular and tissue scales. I studied the self-organization and remodeling of multicellular networks, the physics of cell–cell adhesion and cell–matrix interactions, and pattern formation.I use theoretical models and computational methods like agent-based modeling, particle based simulations and some occasional image analysis. As someone who got into science because of Carl Sagan, I am personally invested in science outreach, teaching, and mentoring.
